{"id":11609,"date":"2023-05-30T10:29:38","date_gmt":"2023-05-30T08:29:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2025.alpenverein-slovensko.sk\/?post_type=docs&#038;p=11609"},"modified":"2025-10-23T18:34:52","modified_gmt":"2025-10-23T16:34:52","password":"","slug":"gdpr","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/alpenverein-slovensko.sk\/en\/support\/gdpr\/","title":{"rendered":"GDPR \u2013 personal data protection"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Operator<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The operator of the Alpine Club website\u202fAlpenverein\u202f(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.alpenverein-slovensko.sk\">www.alpenverein-slovensko.sk<\/a>) is <strong>Horsk\u00fd klub, s.r.o.<\/strong>, Pobre\u017en\u00e1\u202f477,\u202f031\u202f04\u202fLiptovsk\u00fd\u202fMikul\u00e1\u0161, Slovak Republic, Company ID\u202f47494794, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court \u017dilina\u202f60580\/L (hereinafter referred to as the \u201coperator\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Responsible Person<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The responsible person of the operator is the director of Horsk\u00fd klub\u202fs.r.o.; the mailing address is identical to the operator\u2019s registered address, and the electronic address is\u202f<a href=\"mailto:info@alpenverein-slovensko.sk\">info@alpenverein-slovensko.sk<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Purpose and Legal Basis<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The purpose and legal basis for processing personal data is membership in the Alpine Club\u202fAlpenverein. Membership includes insurance concluded under framework agreements between the Austrian Alpine Club\u202f\u00d6sterreichischer Alpenverein (\u201c\u00d6AV\u201d) and the insurer <strong>Generali Versicherung\u202fAG<\/strong> represented by <strong>KNOX Versicherungsmanagement\u202fGmbH<\/strong>. Austrian law (including Austrian international reference standards) governs these contracts. Supplying personal data is necessary for arranging and concluding an insurance contract for an Alpenverein member; without such data membership cannot be established. The operator sends important notices and alerts concerning membership validity to the member\u2019s e\u2011mail address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Data Subject and Processed Personal Data<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The data subject is the club member. The personal data processed for the data subject include: first name, last name, permanent or temporary residence, date of birth, nationality, title, gender, telephone number, and e\u2011mail address. If additional personal data are processed for example, health\u2011related informationsuch data are handled only to the extent necessary for providing the service in the event of a claim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Recipients of Personal Data<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Personal data may be disclosed primarily to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>\u00d6sterreichischer Alpenverein (\u201c\u00d6AV\u201d)<\/strong>, Vienna, Austria<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>KNOX Versicherungsmanagement\u202fGmbH<\/strong>, Innsbruck, Austria (insurance intermediary)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Generali Versicherung\u202fAG<\/strong>, Landskrongasse\u202f1\u20113,\u202f1010\u202fVienna, Austria (insurer)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the membership period the insurer may change; the current insurer is indicated on the website\u202fwww.alpenverein-slovensko.sk\u202funder the \u201cInsurance\u201d section. The data may also be shared with companies acting on behalf of the member for the exercise of rights related to assistance services and insurance benefits within the Alpine Club membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Retention Period<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The operator will retain the member\u2019s personal data for the duration of the Alpine Club membership and, after termination of membership, for at least 15\u202fyears from the end of the contractual relationship with the data subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Rights of the Data Subject<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The data subject has the following rights with respect to the processing of his\/her personal data:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Right of Confirmation &amp; Access<\/strong> \u2013 to obtain confirmation whether personal data concerning him\/her are being processed and, if so, to receive a copy of those data together with the information set out in this notice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Right to Rectification<\/strong> \u2013 to have inaccurate personal data corrected and incomplete data completed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Right to Erasure (\u201cright to be forgotten\u201d)<\/strong> \u2013 to have personal data deleted when they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Right to Restriction of Processing<\/strong> \u2013 to limit processing when:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the data subject contests the accuracy of the data during the verification period;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>processing is unlawful and the data subject opposes erasure but requests restriction instead; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the data are no longer needed for the original purpose but the data subject requires them to assert, exercise, or defend a claim.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Right to Data Portability<\/strong> \u2013 to receive the personal data provided by him\/her in a structured, commonly used, machine\u2011readable format and to transmit those data to another controller.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Right to Object<\/strong> \u2013 to object to processing of his\/her personal data by the insurer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Right to Lodge a Complaint<\/strong> \u2013 with the Slovak Office for Personal Data Protection if the data subject believes that processing by the operator violates applicable data\u2011protection legislation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Right to Human Review<\/strong> \u2013 if a decision affecting the data subject is based solely on automated processing, the data subject may request that the operator review the decision by a human. The operator must comply, with its employees conducting the review, and must inform the data subject of the review method and outcome within 30\u202fdays of receiving the request.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Right to Verification of Identity<\/strong> \u2013 to request proof of identity of the person authorized to obtain the data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Right to Source Information<\/strong> \u2013 if the data were not obtained directly from the data subject, the data subject may request information about the source of the data, including whether they originated from publicly accessible sources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Right to Exercise All Rights in Writing<\/strong> \u2013 at the insurer\u2019s registered address or via e\u2011mail\u202f<a href=\"mailto:info@alpenverein-slovensko.sk\">info@alpenverein-slovensko.sk<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The personal data will <strong>not be published<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Transfer of Personal Data<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The operator expects to transfer the personal data to the recipients listed above within the European Union, to EEA\u2011contracting states, and to Switzerland (recipients identified in point\u202f6 of this notice).
