Members of the Alpenverein, we have great news. If you arrive at one of our five huts by public transport between June 16 and July 13 2025, the hut will reward you with one free night.
How does it work?
- You are a member of the Alpenverein
- You will complete the hike on the scheduled date and reserve a place at one of the selected huts.
- You will arrive at the hut by public transport within Austria (train, bus, Klimaticket…). However, we are also realistic – that is why you can participate in the event even if you travel from your country by taking more than half of the journey through Austria by public transport.
- You will show a valid ticket upon arrival.
- You will receive one night at the given hut for free – as a reward for your considerate approach to nature.

What not to forget:
- Accommodation reservation is mandatory – capacities are limited!
- The promotion is valid only once for each member during the campaign period.
- Valid only for proven public transport travel (please bring your ticket – retroactive recognition is not possible).
- The lodge will note your membership number and date of arrival.
